英语中需要掌握哪些热点介词

编者按：在我们的英语学习中，常常有同学搞不清楚介词的用法，偏偏有些介词出现的频率有很高，这可怎么办呢?有什么好方法让我们学生掌握这些热点介词呢?

　　1. against

　　a. I'm strongly against the policy. 我强烈反对这一政策。(opposing)

　　She was forced to marry against her will. 她被迫违心地嫁了人。

　　b. Put the piano against the wall. 把钢琴靠墙放。(close to, touching, hitting)

　　They saw a man resting against a tree. 他们看见一个男子靠着树休息。

　　The rain beat against the windows. 雨点击打着窗户。

　　c. Her red clothes stood out clearly against the snow. 她的红衣服在雪地里格外显眼。(in contrast to)

　　Sunshine reflects on the many lakes, making them shine like diamonds against the rich country. 阳光反射在湖面上，让这些湖就像镶嵌在大地上的宝石闪闪发光。

　　2. beyond 超出(一定范围)

　　a. beyond recognition /description /imagination /word 认不出来 / 难以言状 / 很难想象 / 难以言表

　　b. beyond one's ability /power /reach 力不能及 / 爱莫能助 / 鞭长莫及

　　3. for

　　a. Once out in the street, Polly headed for her usual bus stop. 一到大街上，Polly马上往车站奔去。 (in the direction of)

　　He rose from his seat and made for the door. 他从座位上站起来朝门口走去。

　　I hope the weather will soon change for the better. 希望天气尽快好转。

　　They set sail for / left for Egypt. 他们动身前往埃及。

　　This is a train for Nanjing. 这趟车开往南京。

　　b. I'm all for people having fun. 我完全赞成人们尽情享乐。 (in support of)

　　They voted for independence. 他们投票赞成独立。

　　c. He came to me for advice. 他来征求我意见。 (in order to get)

　　Has the doctor been sent for? 派人去请医生了没有?

　　You have to ask for permission before leaving. 得到允许才能离开。

　　(look /search /hunt / seek for 等短语中的for含义相同：“为获取”。)

　　4. under

　　a. under repair /constrution /discussion /consideration /way 在修理中 / 在建 / 在讨论中 / 在考虑中 / 在进行中

　　b. under control 得到控制;

　　under the control /charge of sb. 在某人的掌控之下

　　under arrest 被捕

　　c. under the mask of 在......掩盖之下，假借......之名
