　　Ten years ago, Spears was the world's hottest young star. She sang fun pop songs, and her good-girl image (形象) made her an icon (偶像) for young women all over the world. Britney Spears was not just a singer — she was the face of a movement.

　　That's a lot of pressure for anyone to deal with, especially a teenager. After a few years, her innocent (清纯的) image started to break. She went from a good girl to a party girl, dressing in sexy (性感的) clothing and showing up at events drunk and wild.

　　Spears married one of her back-up dancers and had two children, but that didn't stop her bad behavior. Whenever Spears' picture showed up in news, it was usually to report on a crazy thing she'd done.

　　Spears has been able to pull herself back to her feet. She has put out a new album, proving she's still a performer.
