　　On this day, though, in class, Jimmy and his classmates were playing in the hall and suddenly saw Teacher Rolin carrying a few small caterpillars. None of them had ever seen a caterpillar before, so they were very curious about these little bugs. Victor looked at them and said, “Teacher, what are they?” Teacher Rolin replied, “These are called caterpillars. They are a kind of insect.”

　　这天，课间的时候，懒惰猪Jimmy他们正在走廊上玩耍，突然看到猫头鹰老师Rolin带来了几条毛毛虫。由于大家都没有见过毛毛虫，所以对于这些小虫子他们充满了好奇。皮皮猩Victor看着这些小虫子问：“老师，这些小虫子是什么呀?”猫头鹰老师Rolin说：“这些虫子叫做毛毛虫，它们是属于昆虫的一种。”

　　To let everyone see the caterpillars better, Teacher Rolin put them on the table. Everyone gathered around and looked closely at the caterpillars, and even imitated their movements.

　　为了方便让大家更加了解毛毛虫，猫头鹰老师Rolin把毛毛虫都放在了桌子上。大家围成了一个圈，认真的观察毛毛虫是长什么样的，还一起开心地模仿毛毛虫移动的样子。

　　Victor was especially interested in the little creatures, and asked Teacher Rolin, “What do they eat? And why are they so furry?” Teacher Rolin patiently answered each one of his questions.

　　皮皮猩Victor对毛毛虫特别感兴趣，一直拉着猫头鹰老师Rolin问“毛毛虫是吃什么长大的呀?”“毛毛虫的身上为什么会有这么多的毛呢?”...猫头鹰老师Rolin耐心的对他提出的问题都一一回答了。

　　Everyone really liked the caterpillars, and decided they would be the class pets. After a few days, Jimmy discovered the caterpillars had disappeared! Victor began to cry, and ran to Teacher Rolin. He told her, “Teacher, the caterpillars are gone!”

　　大家都非常的喜欢毛毛虫，决定要把它们放在教室里养着。几天后，懒惰猪Jimmy他们却发现毛毛虫们都不见了，皮皮猩Victor哭着跑去告诉猫头鹰老师Rolin：“老师，毛毛虫们都不见啦!”

　　Teacher Rolin smiled and told Victor, “That’s because they became beautiful butterflies and flew away.” Victor didn’t understand, and asked, “Why do caterpillars become butterflies?”

　　猫头鹰老师Rolin笑着对Victor说：“那是因为它们变成美丽的蝴蝶飞走啦。”皮皮猩Victor不明白的问：“为什么毛毛虫会变成蝴蝶飞走呢?”

　　Teacher Rolin explained, “Because just like you, caterpillars grow up, and when they grow up they become butterflies.” Everyone finally understood why the caterpillars had disappeared.

　　猫头鹰老师Rolin解释到：“因为毛毛虫和你们一样也是会慢慢长大的呀，它们长大后就变成蝴蝶啦。”大家终于明白毛毛虫为什么会不见了。

　　The next day, Pandora and her friends were playing on the playground. What would happen next? We’ll find out next time.

　　On this day, the school would be holding a blackboard art competition, and every class had to participate. Teacher Rolin held the sign-up sheet and asked, “Would anyone like to represent our class in the competition?” Everyone turned to look at Iris, because they all knew she learned to draw and could draw very well. But Iris just lowered her head. She lacked self-confidence, and didn’t have the courage to enter.

　　这天，学校公布要举办黑板报比赛啦，要求每个班级都要报名参加。猫头鹰老师Rolin拿着报名手册说：“有谁想要自愿报名参加黑板报比赛，为班级争光的吗?”大家都把目光转向了幻想鹿Iris，因为大家都知道Iris有学过画画，她的画画很厉害。可是幻想鹿Iris却低下了头，她对自己太没有自信了，也没有勇气举手报名。

　　Teacher Rolin said to Iris, “Iris, you draw very well. Would you like to be part of the competition and represent our class? I think you’d do a great job!” But Iris did not look up.

　　猫头鹰老师Rolin温柔的对Iris说：“Iris，你的画画非常的棒，你愿不愿意代表班级去参加黑板报比赛呢?我相信你可以做得很好的。”幻想鹿Iris仍然低头沉默。

　　Jimmy could see that Iris wasn’t confident, and tried to encourage her, saying, “You draw so well. You should enter the competition.” Everyone began to encourage Iris in hopes that she would participate.

　　懒惰猪Jimmy也看出了Iris的不自信，鼓励的对她说：“你画画这么好看，你应该去参加比赛的。”大家都开始鼓励幻想鹿Iris，希望她能去参加比赛。

　　Iris saw that everyone believed in her, and this gave her confidence. She bravely raised her hand and said, “Teacher Rolin, I’d like to volunteer for the competition.” Teacher Rolin and Jimmy applauded for Iris, and this gave her even more courage.

　　幻想鹿Iris看到大家都这么相信自己，于是逐渐树立起了自信心，大胆的抬头举手：“老师，我自愿报名参加比赛。”猫头鹰老师Rolin和懒惰猪Jimmy他们都为幻想鹿Iris鼓掌，这给Iris带来更大的勇气。

　　Iris began to draw. In the end, with everyone’s encouragement, she finished her first piece of blackboard art. What’s more, this piece earned first place in the competition! Iris was so excited, and said to everyone, “Thank you for your encouragement and trust. Without that, I wouldn’t have had the confidence to participate, and earn the first prize.” Everyone was so happy for Iris.

　　幻想鹿Iris开始拿起了画笔画黑板报。最后，在大家的帮助下，幻想鹿Iris完成了第一次的黑板报作品，且这份黑板报在比赛中还获得了第一名!幻想鹿Iris开心得不得了，对大家说：“谢谢你们的鼓励和信任，我才能对画画重新拾起自信心，在比赛中获得了第一名。”大家也为自信的幻想鹿Iris感到很高兴。
