Most westerners always celebrate Christmas Day as their major festival, in order to memorialize Jesus. During that time, they always have several days off, so they can enjoy this festival with all their hearts. The children often get together with their friends. The adults are busy with decorating their houses. They also send the postcards with their best wishes to each other. In the streets, there are so many Fathers Christmas sending presents to the passers-by. And everything is on a discount in the supermarkets. Thus the supermarkets are the busiest places.
In the evening, the families usually have pudding, sandwiches, apple pies and some other desserts for dinner. After supper, the families always sing and dance around the Christmas tree. Sometimes, they also go to church. Before going to bed, the children often hang up their stockings beside their bed, so that Father Christmas will fill them with presents. It is said that Father Christmas always drives a deer to the human world and entering into each house from the chimney. Now the children no longer believe in Father Christmas, but they still hang up their stockings, because their parents will fill them with presents.

You want to know sthe changes about my hometown. You know, great changes have taken place since 60 years ago.
In the past, the living conditions were very poor. There were not many buses or cars, and the roads were narrow. Usually, a big family was crowed into a small, dark house. Most families couldn’t get enough food. The communications were simple and slow. People kept in touch with their friends and relatives far away mainly by letter or telegram.
Thanks to the government, our hometown has developed rapidly in recent years. The living conditions are much better and more comfortable. The roads are wide. Some people have their own cars. Most of the people have lived in big new houses. Quite a few adults have mobile phones. Because of many good policies, I think our lives will become better and better.

Today is mother's day. I think my mother is so hard, and today she is ill. I should do more on this mother's day to make my mother happy. Yes, I should buy a gift for my mother today and do some housework. I decided to act now. At first, I took my pocket money to buy a gift -- a card.
I walked out of my house and looked at a few shops, but none of these shops were selling CARDS. How to do? Looking for! I walked on again. I want to find a card today. I went to a small shop, and I saw that there were CARDS in it. Well, finally I found it. I went into the store and picked it up.
I asked the shopkeeper to bring out all kinds of CARDS. I picked it one by one. Finally I found a satisfactory card. The card is very beautiful, and it has a beautiful music on the open. Great! So I asked the boss, "how much is it?" The boss and the owner say: "kid, not expensive, five dollars a piece." B: I think so. Money is really inexpensive. I paid for the card and went home.
When I got home, I saw my mother lying in bed. So I started doing housework. I took the broom and swept it all over. Then I mop the floor again. After a while, I took the mop down to the tap. By the time I had finished, my mother was awake. She smiled when she saw the clean and tidy room. I quickly put down the mop and brought the card, handed it to mom with both hands, and said loudly, "happy mother's day!" "Mother said," tao tao, the card is not important. What matters is your study, as long as you do well, I will be happy!" I said, "mom, I know. I will study hard and get full marks for the second time."

The protagonists fight against the evil forces with the support of their families and friends. They win in the end and grow up as the strong people. This shows the children never to give up and success will come.
