　　一个特殊的日子

　　1月1日 星期二 晴

　　It's New Year's Day today. This morning when I got up, I heardsomebody singing a love song. It was mum! Ifelt very strange because Iknew mum didn't enjoy popular songs. And I didn't think it was suitable formy middle-aged mother to sing any love songs. What's more, dad wasfollowing what mum was singing. "What had happened to them?" Then Inoticed a box with a small card on the table. I got close to it carefully andunderstood then. As a matter of fact, it was their 15th marriage anniversarytoday. That's why they were so happy. When seeing their happiness, I alsofelt happy.

　　今天是元旦节。早上起床时，我听到有人在唱爱情歌曲。是妈妈!我感到很奇怪，因为我知道妈妈不喜欢流行歌曲，而且我觉得已经中年的妈妈已不适合唱爱 情歌曲。更奇怪的是，爸爸也随着妈妈的歌声唱起来了。“他们怎么了?”后来我注意到了桌子上有一个盒子，盒子上系着一张小卡片。我小心地靠近它，直到这时 才明白。原来今天是他们结婚15周年纪念日。这就是为什么他们如此快乐的原因。看到他们幸福的样子，我也感到很快乐。

　　忙碌而愉快的一天

　　I got up early this morning. After breakfast I went to the beach near my home with my friends. We went there by bike. As soon as we got there, we played with the sand and walked on the beach. We also went boating.It was really fantastic. In the afternoon I went to the library and read books there. I also helped my parents make dinner. After dinner I washed the dishes. In the evening I did my homework. Then I surfed the internet. I had a busy and interesting day.

　　我今天起床早。吃完早饭后我和朋友们去了我家附近的海滩。我们骑自行车去的。我们一到那里就玩沙子，在海滩走。我们也划船。很棒。下午我去图书馆看书。我也帮助父母做晚饭。饭后我洗碗。晚上我做作业，然后上网。我今天很忙也过得很愉快。

　　乡村游记 A Trip To The Country

　　One Sunday my mother (Mother) had (made) me take my little young brother to the a trip to the country. She bade me take good care of him.

　　有一个星期日，我母亲叫我带小弟弟去乡村游历。她吩咐我要好好照料他。

　　While we were walking along the road, the sun was shining brightly and the breeze was blowing gently. We saw the beautiful flowers smile (smiling) at us and heard the birds sing (singing) their sweet songs on the trees. The scenery was indeed very pretty (beautiful).

　　当我们沿着道路行走的时候，太阳灿烂地照耀着，微风轻轻地吹着。我们看见美丽的花儿对我们微笑着，并听见鸟儿在树上唱着悦耳的歌曲，风景实十分美丽。

　　When we felt tired, we returned home. We saw Mother (our mother) wait (waiting) for us at the door.

　　当我们感觉到疲倦的时候，我们就回家了。我们看见母亲正在门口等候我们。

　　植树节英语日记 Arbor-Day

　　Today is Arbor-Day. Our school arranged us to go to the near hills to plant trees. We start at seven o'clock in the morning. It took us half an hour to get to the destination. The moment we arrived, we began to work as arranged before. Some dug holes, some put trees in the hole, some put the earth back to the hole, while others watered the trees. When we planted all the trees, it's already one o'clock in the afternoon. We were all hungry and tired but happy and proud.

　　今天是植树节。我们学校安排我们去附近的山上植树。我们上午七点就开始出发了。我们花了半个小时才到达目的地。我们到达那里，我们就像之前安排好的那样开始工作了。有的挖坑，有的放树进坑里，有的把土放回坑了，而其他人则给树浇水。我们种完所有的树时，已经是下午一点了。我们都饿了、累了但是都很高兴和自豪。
