Dear ladies and gentlemen:
Thank you for the warm welcome. It's an honor to be here today. I'm here on a mission. I have an important message. I'm convinced it will change your life. English is everywhere. English is a key to success. We must learn and master it.
So many of us study English like hell. So few of us can speak it well. What do you think is the reason? The problem is right here! The problem is remembering. The problem is that we forget what we learn.
Luckily , through years of research ,we've created a new way to learn . With this specially designed material and method, we can retain what we learn forever. It's called One Breath English.
What is One Breath English? Why shall we learn it, what it all about?
First, it's a breakthrough technique. It's easy to remember. It's designed to be memorized. Repeat nine lines like crazy. Speak as fast as you can. Say it within five seconds. It will become second nature. It will be ingrained in your memory. You will remember it for the rest of your life.
Second, the material is full of life. It's not boring book English. It's the core essence of daily American speech. The content is uplifting. It's considerate and polite. People will like what you say. You'll gain confidence. You'll communicate better. You'll become a better person.
Third, it's fun to learn. It's a five second test. It's just like playing a game. You challenge yourself. You race against the clock. You will improve every time you try. Speak English to yourself day and night. Speak English to everyone around you. It's fun to impress people.
Fourth, One Breath English is very healthy. It's a fountain of youth. It will make you become younger. What makes people grow old? It's an_iety, stress and loss of hope. Reciting English will cure these problems. Chant it over and over. Say it to yourself again and again. Your an_iety, depression and loneliness will all go away.
The bottom line is that One Breath English gets results. It's organized and systematic. This is a great discovery. It's totally revolutionary. It's unprecedented in language learning history. The English revolution is NOW! One Breath English is the way. Let's open our books and begin.

I believe in our future
Honorable Judges fellow students:
Good afternoon Recently ther is a heated debate in our society. The college students are thebeneficiaries of a rare privilege who receive e_ceptional education ate_traordinary places. But will we be able to face the challenge and support ourselvesagainst all odds Will we be able to better the lives of others Will we be ableto accept the responsibility of building the future of our country The cynics say the college students are the pampered lost generation whichwould cringe at the slightest discomfort.
But the cynics are wrong. The collegestudents I see are eagerly learning about how to live independently. We help eachother clean the dormitory go shopping and bargain together and take part timejobs to supplement our pocket money. The cynics say we care for nothing other than grades and we neglect the needfor character cultivation. But again the cynics are wrong. We care deeply for eachother we cherish freedom we treasure justice and we seek truth. Last weekthousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make acontribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer.
As college students we are adolescents at the critical turning point in ourlives. We all face a fundamental choice: cynicism or faith each will profoundlyimpact our future or even the future of our country. I believe in all my fellowclassmates. Though we are still ine_perienced and even a little bit childish. Ibelieve that we have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take on ourresponsibilities. We are preparing to assume new responsibilities and tasks andto use the education we have received to make our world a better place. I believein our future.

Pubs are an important part of British life. Even very small villages nearly always have a pub. People especially men， will often go to the pub for a drink in the evening and at weekends. A man will usually go to the same pub， one which is closed by and which is called the local： I'm just nipping down to the local for a print. Women now go to pubs more than they used to， but usually don not like to go to a pub on their own. Children under 16 are not usually allowed into pubs， although some pubs have a children's room or a garden where children can sit.
Until 1988， pubs were only allowed to be open from 12：00 am to 2：00 pm alcoholic drink can be sold in a public place are called the licensing laws. Many pubs have two or more different bars. The public bar is usually plainly furnished and often has a pool table and dartboard. It is the bar usually used by the local people. The saloon bar is comfortable and well-furnished and is the bar that is usually used by men and woman drinking together.

My definition of success
Today I am very glad to be here to share with you my ideas of success. What is success? It is what everyone is longing for.Sometimes success would be rather simple. Winning a game is success; getting a high grade in the e_am is success; making a new friend is success; even now I am standing here giving my speech is somehow also success.
However, as a person’s whole life is concerned, success becomes very complicated. Is fortune success? Is fame success? Is high social status success? No, I don’t think so. I believe success is the realization of people’s hopes and ideals.Nowadays, in the modern society there are many people
who are regarded as the successful. And the most obvious characteristics of hem are money, high position and lu_urious life. So most people believe that s success and all that they do is for this purpose. But the problem is wether it is real success. We all know there are always more money, higher position and better condition in front of us. If we keep chasing them, where is the end? What will satisfy us at last? Therefore, we can see, to get the real Success we must need something inside, which is the realization of people’ hopes and ideals.
Different people have different ideas about success; cause people’s hopes and ideas vary from one another. But I am sure every success is dear to everybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cause in the process of our striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility. These are the best treasures. So now I am very proud that I have this opportunity to stand here speaking to all of you. It is my success, cause I raise up to challenge my hope.
What is success? Everyone has his own interpretation as I do. But I am sure every success leads to an ever-brighter future. So ladies and gentlemen, believe in our hopes, believe in ourselves, we, every one of us, can make a successful life!

Nowadays, more and more university graduates complain that graduation does not equate to employment. They e_perience great difficulties finding satisfactory jobs. What is the cause of this phenomenon
In my opinion, there are four causes:
First, graduates lack e_perience. They spend most of their time at school studying academic subjects and lack relevant job training. Only after graduation do they realize it’s hard to find jobs.
Second, competition among graduates grows more bitter and more bitter and bitter. The supply of university graduates e_ceeds social demand. This results in a decreased chance for any individual graduate to find a job.
Third, some students don’t study hard. Some of them skip classes just because they have no interest in certain subjects. Some play computer games or pursue other interests. They can hold part-time jobs in their spare time to accumulate relevant work e_perience. They should take part in some social activities and provide themselves with special training, if possible. When they graduate and apply for jobs, they should attach more importance to accumulating e_perience than to their starting salary.
