1、复习巩固
复习能使知识长期保持在记忆中，在需要时，能准确无误的再现，并能加以运用。要达到知识的巩固，理解是前提，复习是手段，复习能使知识在记忆中得到强化和保持，但复习要做到科学性、系统性、经常性，才能卓有成效，对刚进入初三的同学来说，要抓好复习巩固这一环节，订好切实可行的复习计划。
(1)及时复习根据“艾宾浩斯遗忘曲线”，新学的知识开始时遗忘率最高，所以抓住及时复习非常必要，如，学习了新单词后每天都要读、背，或使用这些词，哪怕课余、饭后的几分钟读上一、二遍，就能强化记忆的痕迹，才能保证新授课能顺利进行;
(2)新旧交替复习在接受新知识前要复习前一次的内容，建立新旧知识的相互联系，使知识系统化。如牛津英语中的英英解释，通常都是用已学过的英文解释生词，自己多试着去解释，很自然，复习巩固也就渗透其中了;
