Urbanization level

城市发展有一个指标很重要，它就是Urbanization level（城市化水平）。

它是城市化的度量指标，一般采用人口统计学指标，即城镇人口占总人口的比重。根据联合国的估测，世界发达国家的城市化率在2050年将达到86%，我国的城市化率在2050年将达到71.2%。

我们来看2个例句：

The industrialization and development level in a country are measured by the urbanization level.

城镇化水平衡量着一个国家工业化和发展程度。

Both the improvement in the urbanization level and the narrowing of the gaps between urban and rural areas represent economic development.

城市化水平的提高，城乡差距的缩小，本身都意味着经济的发展。
