　　Many schools forbid students from using smart phones in the campus. This has set off a heated debate. Opinions vary.

　　I support the move. The smart phone has a negative impact on the students’ study.

　　To begin with, the smart phone is a major distraction to those lacking in self discipline, as is often the case with most teenagers. Many students are addicted to electronic games. They are usually burried in playing games, some even in class, thus allowing themselves little time to spend on their studies. Others are occupied either in reading novels, watching videos or chatting through social media.

　　On top of that, some students use the smart phone to search for answers to their examination questions and spread the answers around, which is a sure destruction to the academic environment of the school and which in turn affects the students’ studies.

　　Besides, too much use of smart phones causes damage to students’ health, and lessens their concentration in class, among many other things, thus dragging them down academically in the long term.
