In my heart,there hides a secret,a a serect that only belongs to me and my rommate.
It was in a cold and windy morning,I and one of my roomates were walking hurrily to go to the class.It was then when we suddenly hear something strange from the bushes along the road.Everyone around was scurrying because of the bad weather and none had noticed that sound except us.When we tried to aproach to check what was going on there.To our greatest surprise,we saw a femal cat was painfully giving birth to babies.It was our first time to see the scene.And of course we had scared the mother cat.She wanted to escape only to find that herself was totally exhausted.We paced back in order not to make her worry and tried to convice her that we were not dangerous.In case that someone might found and hurt her,we decided to stay as the denfender for her inspite of the fact that we would be late for class.So both my roomate and I were enduring in the frigid wind beside the bush.Before we left we even left our breakfast for her as well as for her babies.
Untill so far we haven't told anyone about that story.I wish someday in the campuse we may come across that female cat behind whom are its lovely babies.

The surprising fact that I discovered during my first year at the university was that quite a bignumber of students were solely motivated by the academic degree they would obtain upongraduation. Certainly, I would not go anywhere near so far as to doubt the social and economicvalue that a degree would bring to students in future. Probably this tendency is rooted in the vocation-oriented and the career-oriented motivation. If a student discovers his vocation, he finds a life-time pleas ure in pursuing his profession. Bycontrast, a career-oriented student tends to take the academic certificate as an only means topreferment.
In conclusion, the university provides students with many golden opportunities, getting adegree being one of them. The challenge of new ideas, the leisure to read and the chance tomeet people are equally important. Anyway, a broad mind adds so much to the value of adegree.

In colleges and universities, the phenomenon of students' skipping classes is not unusual. There are often some students who skip those classes for feeling unwell or other private reasons. Besides, still some students don't go to class without any reason but for they don't want to.
There are two main reasons for college students' skipping classes. First, compared with in middle school, students have more freedom in college. It depends more on one student's consciousness whether he will attend the class. So those students lacking self-discipline begin to skip classes. Second, some teachers' lectures could not attract students' interests so that some students would rather skip classes to study what they are interested in.
For whatever reasons, skipping classes does bring negative effects on students' study. Therefore, it is necessary to take some effective measures to reduce this phenomenon. On the one hand, the school and teachers should make students realize the negative effects of skipping classes and enhance their consciousness of attending the class. On the other hand, teachers have to improve their teaching quality to attract students’ interests in the courses. Only in this way can the phenomenon of skipping classes be reduced as soon as possible.
