　　Veggie adventure

　　EVERYONE wants to be a hero and do something great. Even vegetables have such big dreams.

　　Three vegetable friends, Elliot the cucumber, Sedgewick the gourd (葫芦) and George the grape, set sail on an adventure and discover that real heroes don't have to be tall, strong and handsome. They are stars in an animated (动画) film, The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything: A Veggie Tale. It opened in the US in February.

　　The three friends work as waiters at a dinner theater, a restaurant that presents a play during dinner. All they dream of is the day when they can throw away their dishrags (抹布) and take the stage to star in the show. But with Elliot's timidity (胆小), Sedgewick's laziness and George's lack of self-confidence, it seems as if the day to prove who they really are will never come.

　　Things change when they meet a "help-seeker" sent from the 17th century. Our vegetable friends get their chance to rescue a royal family and themselves from living the life of common waiters.
